If you've wanted to know more about metalwork and not sure if it's something you want to do then this welding "taster" course may be right up your alley.
Nyree, an accomplished metal artisan and trainer, wants to encourage people who are interested in trying welding for the first time for either sculptural or practical applications. She offers a safe and creatively stimulating learning environment at the Lismore Art Space.
Course Includes:
  - Types of welders vs types of metals 
  - Electric welding, the pros and cons of tig, mig and arc welding, gas/ gasless, and inverter technology.
  - Demonstration and instruction on mig and arc welding techniques including posture and recommended PPE,
  - Tricks of the trade and troubleshooting ideas
  - All PPE supplied

*All participants are required to wear; cotton work shirt and leather work boots, and to bring drivers licence or other machinery licence, etc*
